The most popular programs accepted, either in PC or Mac format, include PhotoShop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress and In-Design. File extentions include .pdf, .qxd, .qxp, .psd, .eps .tif.
If submitting a Adobe pdf file you must make sure that all your graphics and photos are created in the CMYK color mode and are a minimum of 300 DPI. Graphics and photos can not be converted to 300 DPI and be expected to look as clean as they are at lesser resolution.
When submitting a .tif file, it must be saved without LZW Compression.
If submitting a vector drawn file (Illustrator, Corel Draw) all text must be converted to outlines and saved as a .eps file format. If you are using PMS color values, these color values must be specified within the document.
If submitting a Quark Xpress file, you must “collect for output” and make sure you are submittng all photos, graphics and fonts used in the document. Also make sure that all your photos and graphics are CMYK and a minimum of 300 DPI.
JPEG files are accepted but MUST be saved at maximum resolution(No Compression) for best results. CMYK is again the required color mode to assure proper color matching.
